La Campagnole® Gardener comes in two versions depending on soil type. The spring counter-tooth version is designed for light, sandy or stony soils: where fixed counter-teeth are better suited to heavy soils, the springs eject stones and roots and return to position without jamming.
Like all Campagnole® models, this tool has wheels so it never needs to be lifted. This reduces strain on the back and allows an upright posture throughout the work. The hardened steel tines penetrate to 24 cm depth and aerate the soil without inverting it, preserving soil structure and soil life. Handmade in Aveyron, lifetime guarantee on all welds.

FAQ
What is the difference between fixed and spring counter-teeth?
The fixed counter-tooth version is recommended for heavy, clay soils: its rigidity breaks up the toughest clods. The spring version is recommended for light, sandy or stony soils: the springs eject stones and roots without jamming the tool.
Is the 50 CDR suitable for professional market gardening?
For plots up to 300 m², yes. Beyond that, and for intensive professional use, the La Campagnole® Maraîcher (80 cm) is better suited: its 80 cm width covers more ground per pass and its pneumatic Ø 26 cm wheels provide better stability on large beds.
