Its standard solid rubber tyre at 80 Shore A provides excellent rolling comfort while ensuring maximum floor protection — no marks, no ruts, no noise. The pressed steel rim, reinforced version, is zinc-plated and blue-passivated without hexavalent chrome: it resists moisture and common chemical agents, except oils.
Made by Blickle — the German reference manufacturer in industrial wheels and castors since 1953.

FAQ
What is the difference between a pneumatic wheel and a solid rubber tyre?
A pneumatic wheel is lighter and provides better cushioning on very uneven ground, but it can puncture. A solid rubber tyre wheel is puncture-proof and requires no maintenance. On large market garden plots where stability and uninterrupted work are the priority, the solid tyre is often preferred.
Is a solid rubber tyre harder to roll than a pneumatic?
On loose or uneven ground, a solid tyre transmits slightly more vibration than an inflated tyre. On a well-prepared, level market garden bed, the difference is very small. The 80 Shore A hardness was chosen by Blickle to achieve the best balance between rolling comfort and wear resistance.
