Le K-tchak - Manual Shredder

The K-tchak® can be used alone or by two people. It is easily moved thanks to two puncture-proof wheels and stabilized by two retractable legs.

The action is manual, using a crank handle. Materials are fed by drive rollers to the blade and counter-blade, where they are cleanly cut. The lever arm, combined with the flywheel and a compensating spring, ensures power, stability, and smooth motion.

The K-tchak® allows cutting length adjustment from 0 to 60 mm.

It can handle diameters from 0 to 25 mm depending on the material type and whether it is fresh or dry.

The lever arm performs a back-and-forth motion. The blade closely follows the counter-blade, enabling a clean cut. The material is discharged by gravity through the outlet chute into a container of your choice.

Two cutting speeds are available depending on the gear selected:

• 1 crank turn = 1 blade stroke (hard materials)

• 1 crank turn = 2 blade strokes (soft materials)

The whole unit is secured with protective guards.

The K-tchak is a manual tool, ideal for fresh herbs, dried plants, straw, reeds, or rushes. It can cut wood up to 30 mm diameter, but for large volumes, it is not the ideal tool.
