FAQ
What is the difference between the Gardener 50 cm and the Maraîcher 80 cm?
The Gardener (50 cm) is more manoeuvrable, lighter and designed for family gardens and small plots up to 300 m². The Maraîcher (80 cm) is wider, fitted with pneumatic Ø 26 cm wheels and suited to large professional plots. For home or community use, the Gardener is the right choice.
Why choose fixed counter-teeth rather than springs on the Gardener?
Fixed counter-teeth are recommended for heavy, clay soils: their rigidity fractures compact clods more effectively. If your soil is light, sandy or stony, the spring counter-tooth version is preferable — the springs eject stones and roots without jamming.
Can La Campagnole® replace a rotary tiller?
Yes, for plots up to 300 m². It aerates the soil to 24 cm depth, breaks up clods and extracts stones and roots — silently, without fuel, without engine maintenance. It also preserves soil life that motorised blades can destroy.
